Natural environment -  Wide open pastures - The mountains -  Far away from crowded tourist spots and cities -  Near the village of Castell’Azzara where there are no cases of COVID 19.

We have a standard procedure to ensure the safety of our guests and equestrian activities.

The uncontaminated, natural environs that surround us is very helpful to keep us all safe and healthy.

Here are the safety procedures that we have put into place:

General Standards of Cleaning and Sanitation

  • We air out all the buildings regularly.
  • We clean all the surfaces and contact places with detergent and disinfectant.
  • The daily plan below assures the cleanliness and sanitation of the different spaces.

Hygienic procedures:  Reception and Hall

  • The furniture is cleaned and sanitized every day.
  • The floors are cleaned and sanitized with a special solution.
  • We have taken out the rugs and decorative pillows to facilitate the cleaning process and to ensure a safer environment.
  • We have taken out unnecessary paper materials.
  • We have put in place measures of social distancing, including floor markings.
  • Check-in online, Check out online with electronic payment, including electronic confirmation.

Hygienic procedures:  Restaurant and Bar

  • We sanitize the tables and chairs.
  • The water stations are accessible by staff only, sanitized with every use.
  • As always, all the furniture and floors are cleaned and sanitized after every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
  • Plates and flatware are washed in the dishwasher, as well as all the table objects that may or may not have been used.
  • We have set up hand sanitizer stations at every entrance and encourage our guests to practice social distancing and to wear masks.
  • We have re-positioned the tables at least one meter apart.
  • Families and persons staying in the same room may dine at their own tables, but other guests may not share tables with those who are not staying in the same room.

Breakfast and restaurant service

Food will be served in special trays and drinks on request at the table.

Hygienic procedures:  Shared bathrooms

As always, all sinks, toilets, and floors are cleaned and sanitized every day, with more often cleaning depending on foot traffic.
Please use the hand sanitizer at the entrance and practice social distancing.

  • We have taken out unnecessary paper products, decorative pillows, and other non-essential accessories.
  • Along with the daily cleaning, we clean and sanitize all surfaces, paying particular attention to contact surfaces, including floors.

Protective supplies for our guests

Masks and hand sanitizer are all available at reception.  Hand sanitizer stations are set up in all public areas:

  • Reception
  • Restaurant
  • Bar
  • Public bathrooms
  • Fireplace room and all other shared spaces

Rules for Staff

All Cornacchino staff are well informed and updated daily with the protective measures put in place to ensure your safety.

All the staff:
    • must wash their hands and use hand sanitizer
    • must wear protective masks
    • must practice social distancing of at least one meter.
    • must disinfect their workspaces.
Cleaning staff and restaurant staff change into their work clothes only upon arrival at Cornacchino.  These work clothes are washed and sanitized with every shift.
Workspaces and surfaces are disinfected on a regular basis throughout the day, including telephones, computers, and other work instruments.
